Introduction:
What's the best dish to bring to any social gathering or potluck? Balls & Wieners, of course! Easy to prepare, no hassle to cook, and a name too funny to not tell your boss you to grab a bowl.
My husband introduced me to his friends who would meet just about every week to hang out, play pool or trivia, and of course, cook up some grub together! This was one of the dishes we would bring over and it would generally feed all of us, sometimes 10 or more people. Ah, good times, until The Great Fire of 2019. That's a whole other story involving a BBQ Grill, Propane tank, and grease. Luckily that was averted, but always remember, Safety first.

Ingredients:
1 Bag of Meatballs (Homestyle, Italian, or even homemade!)
1 Pack of Cocktail Sausages
1 Whole Bottle of BBQ Sauce
1 Whole Jar of Grape Jelly
Equipment:
- Crockpot
- Slotted spoon for mixing and serving
What to do:
Step 1
If using a Crockpot Liner, Put that in now. If not, You can just wast your dishes after. It's not super important, but just makes your life that much easier on cleanup!
Step 2
Dump all of the ingredients into the Crockpot and mix. No really, that's all there is to it!
Step 3
Cook on:
Low: 6-8 Hours
or
High 3-4 Hours
Step 4
Serve it up in bowls and enjoy the best and easiest Balls and Wieners in the world.
Variations:
You are welcome to try other sauces! Instead of Grape Jelly and BBQ Sauce, here's some other ideas!
Italian - Marinara Sauce with Parmesan
Japanese - Teriyaki & Soy Sauce
Korean - Gochujang & Soy Sauce
Mexican - Enchilada Sauce/Mexican Red Sauce, Taco Seasoning - Mix in Cheese and Sour Cream when serving!
At the end of the day:
If you are looking for a recipe to literally dump together and forget about until it's ready to go, this is perfect. Easy Prep, Easy Cleanup. Just throw on a couple sides, and this filling dish will feed a group easily!
