Sandwich Bread

About the Recipe

Never looking back at Store-bought bread again! Delicious and nutritious is here!

Ingredients

1 c. hot Water

1 packet Active Dry Yeast

2 Tbsp Sugar

1 1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 c. Oil

3 c. Flour

Eggwash (an egg, scrambled with a bit of water)

Preparation

Step 1: Mix Hot water, yeast, and sugar together. Set aside to bloom for 10 minutes.

Step 2: Add Salt and Oil, mix.

Step 3: Stir in flour, one cup at a time.

Step 4: Knead on floured surface until smooth.

Step 5: Turn in an oiled bowl to coat and cover with a kitchen towel to rise for 1 1/2 hours.

Step 6: Knead again until smooth and shape into loaf.

Step 7: Place in oiled bread pan and cover again for another 1 hour rest.

Step 8: Uncover and brush with eggwash.

Step 9: Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.

Cool before slicing!
